How It Works

At BN Borderless, we’ve streamlined the Canadian immigration process into a clear and manageable journey. Here’s how it works:

1. Scheduling Your Consultation

To receive expert advice from our licensed immigration consultant, you must book a consultation with BN Borderless Immigration Services, Inc. Please note that our receptionist cannot provide legal advice, and appointments are required for consultations.

Our consultations provide a thorough assessment of your immigration situation by our immigration consultant. This meeting allows us to understand your case and offer tailored recommendations.

To schedule a consultation, you may directly book here or email us at info@bnborderless.ca. If you choose the latter, you will receive a booking link to choose a convenient date and time for your appointment, along with a request for any additional information needed.

We offer online consultations via Zoom, Google Meet, or MS Teams.

All consultations are paid services, except for limited promotion periods, and is required before booking a consultation. You will be prompted to input your card details on the booking page. If you schedule with our receptionist, the payment instructions will be provided via email. Booking will not be confirmed until payment is made.

2. During Your Consultation

At your consultation, our immigration consultant will discuss your case in detail, address your questions, and provide advice on available options. We will explain each potential solution’s benefits and drawbacks based on your specific circumstances.

After your consultation, you will receive an email with a consultation summary.

Should you decide to retain our services, the consultation fee will be deducted from the overall cost of our application services.

3. Service Agreement

If you choose to proceed, we will draft a Service Agreement outlining the specific services and associated fees. By signing this agreement, you formally engage us to handle your case. It is important to read the agreement thoroughly and ask any questions for clarification.

4. Understanding the Fees

Your Service Agreement will detail three types of fees:

A. Legal Fees
These are fees for our services, either as a flat rate or billed hourly. You can discuss these options with our consultant during the consultation.

B. Government Processing Fees
These are mandatory fees collected by the government to process your application. They are separate from our fees. You can find the fee list on the official government website.

C. Disbursements
Additional costs may include translation, printing, photocopying, and courier fees. These will be specified in your Service Agreement and billed as necessary.

5. Decision Authority

BN Borderless Immigration Services, Inc. does not have the authority to decide the outcome of your case. Our role is to represent you and prepare your application to maximize the chances of a favorable government decision.

Government entities such as Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the Federal Court of Canada, or the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada handle your immigration file. While we can submit reminders or inquiries, processing times are beyond our control.

Check the IRCC website for processing times for various types of immigration applications.

6. Document Collection

After signing the Service Agreement, we will send you a personalized list of required documents. Follow our instructions carefully to provide the necessary evidence and documents.

Our instructions will specify document formats, originals, photocopies, and file formats. Providing high-quality, legible documents is crucial for your application’s success.

Documents fall into two categories:

A. Mandatory Government Documents
These are required for your application type and must be provided. For example, a passport copy is essential for a Temporary Resident Visa application.

B. Additional Supporting Documents
These documents enhance your application’s chances of approval. If you opt to exclude them, we require written confirmation acknowledging the associated risks.

7. Submission Preparation

Once we receive all documents, our consultant and support staff will prepare a detailed submission letter if your application is complex. This letter is essential for presenting your case to the government. Depending on the complexity, preparation can take from a few hours to several days.

8. Application Submission

After completing all documents and forms, we will submit your application to the appropriate government office. This can be done via courier, post, online portal, or email. We keep an electronic copy of the entire application package for our records.

9. Post-Submission Process

Once your application is submitted, we await government communication. They may send an acknowledgment or request additional information. We will inform you immediately and provide detailed instructions on how to respond.

If approved, we will guide you through any additional steps required. In case of delays, especially beyond official processing times, we will request a status update from the government.
